Of course they did... but getting bigger is only part of growing up. Compared to older playsets, these newer ones seemed somewhat cheaper. With paperboard to act as set extensions and obnoxious integrated action features these sets got larger but they never really grew up. The problem was that even as I appreciated the effort, there was something missing from my collection. I suppose you could call it a matter of sophistication. Instead of complaining I decided to do something about it.
I kept building.
As you can see, i have been inspired by several notable sources, but a common thread between them all is that they elevate and sophisticate. We don't need sounds from a movie of television show to authenticate our playsets. what we need is a means of bringing exact sets into a proper scale for action figures of a particular scale.
